Mary Elizabeth Eloph, age 88, of Cortland passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday morning July 11, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family. Mary was born on February 8, 1925, in Youngstown, OH the daughter of the late Delbert Langdon & Elsie May (Houk) Langdon.
She married the love of her life, Roy Eugene Eloph, on January 15, 1949 and they enjoyed 46 years of marriage together before he passed away on May 13, 1994. Mary has lived in Cortland with her daughter Linda for the past 9 years, formerly of Lordstown for over 40 years. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Warren and the Lordstown Lutheran Church for many years. Mary loved square dancing and continued to do it until she was 83 years old. She also loved listening to country music, country line dancing and spending time with her family and grandkids.
Mary will be deeply missed by her loving family; 1 daughter: Linda Hamrick of Cortland; 1 son: Dale Eloph of Cortland; 2 sisters: Delores & Lee Kale of Howland, Faye Mathews of FL; 1 brother: Bill Mort of Warren; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, 3 sisters Viola Hudson, Dottie Mang, Betty J. Langdon, and 1 brother Adelbert Langdon.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Charity Baptist Church at 414 School St. Warren, Ohio 44483, on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 1:00PM. Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband Roy at Lordstown Cemetery.

HARRY EZRA ELOPH JR., 84, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012. Born July 26, 1928 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Harry Eloph Sr. and Mary Joley. He graduated from Central Catholic H.S. He worked for Essex Wire for 40 years, retiring in 1994. He married Barbara Pranke, who preceded him in death. Surviving is a daughter, Linda (Steve) Nardin of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Courtney (Chad) Smith of Antwerp, Ohio; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph, Harris, Cloyd and Richard (Dick) Eloph. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at Sloan & Sons Funeral Home with calling one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
